Privacy Policy

Arcadia ("Arcadia," "we," "us"), operated by Link Click Inc., is a social home for the games you
love. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your information.
Information you give us
- Account — your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash) so you can sign in.
- Profile — your username, display name, optional bio, pronouns, chosen avatar, and theme.
- Your content — reviews, ratings, lists, favorite games, follows, and comments you create.
- Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support or file a report.
How we use it
- To operate Arcadia — authenticate you, show your profile and content, and power your feed.
- To send essential transactional email (account confirmation and a welcome message). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
- To keep the community safe — review reports, enforce our rules, and respond to abuse.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted processors. We share only what each needs to function:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting for your account and content.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) — delivery of transactional email.
- RAWG — game catalog data. We send game search terms, never your personal information.
- DiceBear — generates your avatar image from a non-identifying style "seed."
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party advertising,
and we do not embed third-party tracking or advertising SDKs. We do not track you
across other apps or websites.
Your choices & rights
- You can edit your profile and delete your reviews, lists, and other content at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us — see below.
- You can block other users and report content directly inside the app.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we
remove your profile and content; some records may persist briefly in backups before they expire.
Children
Arcadia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Access to your data is protected by row-level security and encryption in transit. No system is
perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit who can access it.
Changes
We may update this policy as Arcadia evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, in the app.
